Spuhr R-7601 Remington 700 SA 6MIL Scope Base

The Picatinny Gen2 Scope Base for the Remington 700 Short Action is a high-quality, lightweight mounting platform developed from more than a decade of experience designing scope-mount systems, firearm accessories, forends and stock assemblies.

Carefully dehorned edges provide a smooth finish and help support consistent, repeatable mounting. The rail is machined from durable 7075-T651 aluminium, combining excellent strength and rigidity with a low overall weight.

The scope base is suitable for both right- and left-handed actions. It includes 6-48 x 1/4-inch Torx T10 screws, along with stainless-steel pins for optional pinning of the rail directly to the action.

This model features a 6 MIL / 20.6 MOA inclination, an overall height of 10 mm / 0.39 inches and a length of 145 mm / 5.7 inches. Its weight is approximately 55 g / 1.9 oz including the mounting screws, with the optional pins adding approximately 0.8 g / 0.03 oz.

This rail is not compatible with rifles threaded for 8-40 scope-base screws, including the Bergara Premier Series and Remington 700 Police 5R. The recommended tightening torque for the Torx T10 mounting screws is 15–18 in-lb.
